On-Site Recruitment Consultant

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a On-Site Recruitment Consultant looking to take their next step and join the team at trg logistics. trg Logistics is a privately owned specialist logistics UK company that has a portfolio of complementary businesses.

It will be your responsibility to manage the complete candidate experience from registration right through to shift allocation, making sure we retain our quality staff. Above all, you’ll need to make sure the client’s needs are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource, register and retain suitable candidates
  • Understand  the ongoing needs of the client
  • Consistently deliver on client requirements
  • Develop effective relationships with all staff
  • Support the On-Site Manager with managing candidates while on-site
  • Ensure candidates are fully compliant and site protocols are met
  • Deal with candidate queries
  • Maintain candidate availability lists
  • Enter accurate candidate data into shift allocation database
  • Coordinate open days and assessment days
  • Provide weekly stats to support business reviews
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the On-Site Manager

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Experience and Skills:

  • Working with clients and delivering on expectations
  • Recruiting and retaining candidates successfully
  • Working in a customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to establish rapport with a variety of stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • The ability to effectively handle a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Good computer literacy with accurate data entry skills
  • Uses own initiative and can work independently
  • Takes responsibility for own work
  • Know when to ask for help and guidance
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Practical approach to problems and solutions focused
